F and S Weld-on Hubs

Type F hubs are used primarily in smaller sizes of steel conveyor wheels. Available for the 2517 and 3020 taper bushes, they are made of forged steel and precision machined controlled by machining center. Type F hubs are easily welded into impellers, fans, pulleys and other devices where "easy-on and easy off" taper bushes are available.

Originally designed for steel plate wheels, Type S weld-on hubs are suitable for applications where space is critical. Because of the reinforcing strength of the item welded on the hub, the outside diameters of these hubs has been reduced to a minimum. Type S hubs are made with carbon steel and precision machined to be suitable for taper bushes.
