K and WA Weld-on Hubs

Type K and Type WA weld-on hubs are made of steel, drilled, tapped and taper bored to receive standard taper bushes. They are very useful for welding into fan rotors, pulleys, plate wheels, impellers, agitators and many other devices, which must be firmly fixed to the shaft. Type K hubs are shorter than type WA. Both types are rugged in construction, easy to install and are entirely suitable for use where severe operating conditions are encountered. This construction eliminates mounting difficulties. It also prevents loosening and wearing happened to the hub during operation.
